The WLD is the civilian version of the Army WLA model that was
produced in the years during and around World War II. Often
referred to as the 454 Solo type due to it's 45 cubic inch and
single rider design. The same engine, in a slightly lower state
of tune, also powered the three-wheeled Servi-Car (the "G"
family), leading to the "solo" distinction...
